Angel Reese is a Chicago Sky rookie and 2023 NCAA National Champion from LSU. Winning the NCAA tournament Most Valuable Player, she was drafted to the Chicago Sky as a 1st round, 7th overall pick. Reese is quickly making a name for herself becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record seven straight double-doubles. Reese has developed a large fanbase with 3.4 million followers on Instagram, where she highlights her basketball skills as well as her style, having partnered with multiple high-profile fashion brands.

 

The Baltimore native was a star in high school in her hometown at St. Frances Academy, where she also played volleyball. As a senior, she earned McDonald’s High School All-American and USA Today All-USA first-team recognition, and was ranked by ESPN as the best wing player in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect in the class of 2020. As a freshman at the University of Maryland, Angel averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds for the Terps and made the 2021 All-Big Ten Freshman Team. On and off the court, Angel has a very bright future ahead of her.
